The Van der Meer Tennis University

Since 1992, the South Tyrol Tennis Camp at the Marling Sports Center has hosted the renowned Van der Meer Tennis University from Hilton Head Island (USA).

Tennis enthusiasts can train at the center between March and November, following the world-famous Standard Method devised by Denis Van der Meer. The facility is popular both with those learning the fundamentals of the sport and experienced players who wish to perfect their forehands and backhands.

The apple harvest in Marling is just around the corner – one of the most beautiful and busiest times of the year. Soon, local fruit growers will once again be out in the orchards, carefully hand-picking the ripe apples. 🚜🌳

But before a crisp South Tyrolean apple is ready to be harvested, there's a lot of work involved. From the blossoms in spring and caring for the trees throughout the summer to choosing the perfect moment for harvest, every apple is nurtured with great care. 🍏☀️
